Acupuncture
Using very fine filiform needles to stimulate acupuncture points to improve blood flow and achieve balance. Treats a variety of conditions.
My specialties are women's health, fertility, labor prep, facial rejuvenation & micro-needling, immune support, stress management, & pain conditions.
Acute conditions vs. chronic: Acute conditions usually respond faster and require less treatments while chronic conditions typically take longer. One or two treatments can provide some relief or not at all but most conditions require a series of treatments to get the desired results. The benefits are always there.
A typical treatment plan is 10-12 sessions and require more frequency at the beginning phase and spaced out later for each person's individual maintenance phase.
Acupuncture thrives on prevention as methods are used to detect subtle disharmonies at a level that may not be an obvious problem yet.

Facial Rejuvenation/Acuglow
A gentle way to treat fine lines and wrinkles using facial needles, body acupuncture points, facial cupping, gua-sha, jade roller, & scalp comb.
Also includes the treatment protocols for Bell's Palsy, Trigeminal neuralgia, and pre/post dental procedures.
Results are typically seen after 6-8 consistent weekly treatments with a total of 12-24 treatments.
There is no downtime with facial rejuvenation treatments and although there isn't any special after-care there may be a root issue to address.

Acuglow: Instead of needles on the face, each treatment includes optional body acupuncture points, facial cleansing, optional exfoliation, facial cupping, guasha, jade roller, scalp comb, & treatment appropriate light. Note this treatment can be done without needles.

Micro-needling
Micro-needling is a safe and effective alternative to injections and surgery used to address skin conditions like face lines, acne scars, skin laxity, enlarged pores, crow's feet and lip wrinkles, dark spots and melasma, stretch marks, hair restoration, & acne.
Micro-needling yields quick results with minimal downtime. Micro-needling also increases the absorption of skincare products thus making them more effective since it allows them to penetrate deeper.
The number of treatments are typically between 6-8 spaced out every 4 weeks and yield results that last several years. Results can show up days after treatment.
A consultation is required to ensure Micro-needling is an appropriate treatment option.

Nano-needling
Nanoneedling uses the same device as Microneedling but instead of using needles, the tips are round allowing a smooth penetration for a deep exfoliation similar to a typical facial increasing product absorption by 97% and providing an instant glow.
Nano-needling is performed during microneedling treatments in areas where prohibited by the needles for lip plumping and surrounding the eye orbit.
As this treatment is more relaxing and not painful it can be done as often as weekly or halfway between microneedling treatments to augment the treatment results.
Each nano-needling treatment begins with a facial cleansing, and after nano-needling, facial cupping, gua-sha, jade roller, & scalp comb. Concluding with optional body acupuncture points, treatment appropriate LED light therapy, & approprate facial serums.

Bodywork/Reflexology
Manual therapy is hands on using a variety of modalities to treat pain, improve function and mobility. Different techniques used include cupping, gua-sha(scraping), the use of therapeutic essential oils, jows, liniments, or balms, tui-na, & stretching. Incorporated in acupuncture treatments, acussage, or booked on it's own.
Reflexology is applying pressure to reflex zones on the feet, hands, & ears corresponding to specific areas of the body.

Herbal Consultation
30 Minutes evaluation just for herbs. After a medical history and current health intake, I will take your pulse, look at your tongue, go over symptoms and prescribe the appropriate herbal remedy.

Environmental Toxins Consultation
This is either an at home visit or zoom to see where you can eliminate environmental aggravators contributing to health problems. (i.e. household products, deodorants, materials, etc.)

LED Light Therapy
LED light therapy helps treat a variety of conditions like eczema, mild to moderate acne, psoriasis, actinic dermatitis, rosacea, wounds, wrinkles, fine lines, sagging skin, & sun damage.
This treatment can be booked on its own or added on. It is included in Micro-needling, Nano-needling, Acuglow, & certain special treatments.
Red light: Wavelength 640NM is the most penetrating power, skin cell regeneration, increases oxygen content in the blood, stimulates circulation, improves aches and wound healing, eases pain, enhances energy, promotes collagen, improves wrinkles.
Yellow light: Wavelength 583NM improves cells oxygen utilization, promotes circulation, red spot & red face, helps remove pigments.
Blue light: Wavelength 423NM is bacteria killing, cell activating, skin sterilizing, prevents wounds.
Green light: Wavelength 532NM targets dark circles, pigmentation, broken capillaries, sun spots. It also calms irritated or overstimulated skin.
Purple light: a combination of red and blue light to address both acne and wrinkles.

Qi Cultivation
Mindful breathing, gentle movements, & focused awareness to bring balance physically, emotionally, & spiritually. I sometimes include some of these techniques in the private session and in the group setting.
Esoteric Acupuncture
A 90 minute treatment focusing on spiritual alignment, growth, & chakra balancing. I only offer this treatment by consultation or already established clients.
